Sand Casted charm and handmade chain

This piece was developed through repetitive forming and linking, as well as a process of sand casting and flush setting for the teddy bear charm.

Individual silver jumprings wire formed, soldered, and interlinked to a fluid chain structure with rhythm, variation, and movement. The focal charm was sand cast in ancient bronze using the mold of a glass charm originally given to me by a loved one. A cubic zirconia was flush set into the teddy bear, a subtle point of sparkle within the bronze form.

The final piece combines delicate hand-formed links with a meaningful cast element, balancing craftsmanship, repetition, and sentimental value.
